PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording material for illumination, on which an ink image having an excellent surface state of a white layer and excellent granularity is formed, a method of manufacturing the inkjet recording material for illumination, a method of forming an image for illumination having excellent granularity, and an illumination signboard in which an image for illumination is formed.;SOLUTION: There is provided an inkjet recording material for illumination including: a white layer containing white particles, a resin and a fluorine-based surfactant on a resin substrate; and an ink reception layer that contains a resin and the fluorine-based surfactant and in which a fluorine concentration on a surface on a side opposite to a side where the white layer is disposed exceeds 0.00% and 5.00% or less by number with respect to the number of all atoms observed on the surface in order from the resin substrate side.
