PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict a rope elongation amount taking into account initial elongation that occurs at an initial stage of an elevator operation, elongation over time thereafter, and expansion and contraction of a rope length that changes with a seasonal change in humidity.;SOLUTION: A rope elongation amount prediction device includes: a site specification information storage part 351 for storing site specification information on an elevator device 10; a site environment information storage part 352 for storing site environment information on the elevator device 10; a storage part 356 for storing information on seasonal expansion and contraction of a rope that stores information on seasonal expansion and contraction of a rope 17; and a storage part 357 for storing information on initial elongation and elongation over time of the rope that stores information on initial elongation and elongation over time of the rope 17. A center control part 33 acquires seasonal expansion and contraction information on the basis of the site specification information stored in the site specification information storage part 351, and the site environment information stored in the site environment information storage part 352, and predicts an elongation amount of the rope 17 for the rope use time from delivery time or exchange time on the basis of the seasonal expansion and contraction information, and the information on initial elongation and elongation over time of the rope.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
