MAP UPDATE DEVICE, MAP UPDATE SERVER, AND MAP UPDATE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map update device, a map update server, and a map update method capable of efficiently updating map data by extracting an area with a high probability of being used by a user without requiring the user to perform cumbersome operation.;SOLUTION: A map data device comprises: a mesh ID notification section 8 to notify a map update server of a mesh ID of map data which is read out from a device side map data storage section 101 and used; an updated map data acquisition section 11 to acquire the map data updated with the mesh identified by the notified mesh ID from the map update server; and a map data update section 12 to update the map data with the acquired mesh and to store the same in the device side map data storage section 101. The map data device enables the map data with the mesh which has a record of being used and is expected to be continuously used with a high probability to be automatically downloaded, updated and stored in the device side map data storage section 101 without requiring a user to perform any operation for updating a map.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
