PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of presenting positions where inadequacies of application contents inputted to an application are likely to occur, to a person who updates a format of the application.;SOLUTION: An application update support device 400 includes: a difference acquisition unit 410 which acquires difference of information inputted to applications by contrasting information inputted to an uncorrected application with information inputted to a corrected application, which are stored in a mail server 200; and a report generation unit 420 which aggregates inadequacy contents of information inputted to the application and frequencies in occurrence of inadequacies in association with each other on the basis of the difference acquired by the difference acquisition unit 410.
