PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and accurately determine an age-group of a pedestrian.SOLUTION: An age group determination device includes first estimation means, calculation means, second estimation means, and deciding means. The first estimation means estimates an age group (first age group) of a pedestrian from a face image of the pedestrian. The calculation means calculates estimation accuracy of the first age group. The second estimation means estimates an age group (second age group) of the pedestrian, on the basis of a stride of the pedestrian. When the estimation accuracy is equal to or higher than threshold, the first age group is determined as the age group of the pedestrian. When the estimation accuracy is less than the threshold, and the first and second age groups are coincident each other, the coincident age group is determined as the age group of the pedestrian. When the estimation accuracy is equal to or higher than the threshold and the first and second age groups are different from each other, an age group of the pedestrian is decided on the basis of the second age group.
