PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide phytoestrogens used for the prevention or treatment of climacteric syndrome, osteoporosis, degenerative osteoporosis, cardio and cerebrovascular disease, and breast cancer which are diseases associated with estrogen secretion lack in a mammal (e.g., human being).SOLUTION: The invention provides phytoestrogens consisting of a combination of Cynomorium (Cynomorium songaricum Rupr.) which is a traditional Chinese medicine, an extract of Cynomorium, particularly chrysophanol, emodin, catechin, (-) epicatechin-3-O-gallate, Naringenin-4'-O-glucoside, and phlorizin in Cynomorium.
