The present invention relates to beneficial agent-containing delivery particles, compositions comprising the particles, and methods for making and using the particles and compositions. When used in a composition, such as a cleaning composition or a fabric care composition, such particles can increase the delivery efficiency of the benefit agent and, as a result, reduce the amount of benefit agent used. In addition to being able to reduce the amount of benefit agent, such particles allow the use of a wide range of benefit agents.
