PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a benefit agent-containing delivery particle containing a core material and a wall material for encapsulating the core material, a composition containing the particle, and a manufacturing method of the particle and the composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition containing a consumer product auxiliary material and a benefit agent delivery particle containing a core and a shell, at least 75% or the benefit agent delivery particle has breaking strength of 0.2 MPa to 10 MPa, the shell of the benefit agent delivery particle is styrene maleic acid anhydride monomethyl maleate and/or a salt thereof, and has a molar ratio of styrene and maleic acid anhydride of 9:1 to 1:9, preferably 6:4 to 4:6, more preferably 1:1, weight average molecular weight of 1000 to 100000 Da, preferably 50000 to 500000 Da, density of 1.03 to 1.11 g/cm, and hydrolysis degree of 20 to 95%, preferably 25 to 80%, more preferably 30 to 70% and is arbitrarily selectively an aminoplast polymer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
