PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money transaction device and power transmission mechanism that can be simplified and downsized, and can obtain a high operational reliability, by reducing the number of components used for driving.SOLUTION: A paper money transaction device includes: a rotation axis; a driving member that is attached to the rotation axis and can move in the axial direction of the rotation axis; and driven members capable of receiving a driving force by connection to the driving member. The driving member and driven members are arranged on the same axis, and the driven members are disposed on the opposite sides in the axial direction of the driving member. Furthermore, the driving member has a slot in the inclined direction with respect to the rotation axis, and a pin fixed to the rotation axis so as to penetrate the slot. The pin moves along the slot to move the driving member in the axial direction of the rotation axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5(a)
