Food powdering device and powdering method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for applying food powder by a different new method for covering an objective food with powder placed on a main conveyor.SOLUTION: A main conveyor 11 including a transfer surface 14 having a central region 15 and a side region 16 in a width direction is used, powder p such as bread crumb is placed on the whole region of the main conveyor 11 and transferred, and an objective food product w is placed on the powder p in a charging place in the central region 15 so as to apply the powder. A sprinkling device 21 is installed above the transfer surface 14. The sprinkling device 21 includes a sprinkling roller 22 rotating to the rear side, and covers the power p on the objective food product w by sending the powder p to an upper stream.
