PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle capable of replacing a bridge girder for bridges of urban expressways and others where use of the spaces above and below the road are significantly limited, allowing replacement safely and with a small work yard, while limiting the spaces used above and below the road.SOLUTION: A bridge girder replacement vehicle 1 comprises a pair of vehicle sections 2A and 2B spaced greater than the longitudinal dimension of an existing girder M1 to be replaced, and a suspension section 3 that connects the pair of vehicle sections 2A and 2B. The suspension section 3 has a crane device 60 for hoisting the existing girder M1. Each of the vehicle sections 2A and 2B comprises a vehicle body 10 mounted with a power source 14, a plurality of traveling devices 20 for traveling on the bridge girder, a sending-out jack 30 for sending out, in the longitudinal direction, a temporary bridge girder 4 that is longer than the longitudinal dimension of the existing girder M1, and a crawler 40 that travels on the temporary girder 4.
