PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interest value calculation device capable of properly notifying a word which the other user has gazed to a user.SOLUTION: The interest value calculation device includes: an acquisition section that acquires cumulative time that a viewer gazes for each of character strings included in a character string group; a calculation section that calculates a relevant value representing a relevance with neighboring other character strings for each of character strings; and a calculation section that calculates an interest value from corresponding cumulative time and relevant value for each of character strings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
