PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interference signal reducing function device to operate more efficiently on the basis of interference signal power and noise power.SOLUTION: An interference signal reducing function control device used in a receiver in a radio communication system includes: interference signal reducing means for reducing an interference signal from a reception signal; interference signal power calculation means for calculating interference signal power from the reception signal; noise power calculation means for calculating noise power from the reception signal; selection means for selecting one of the reception signal and an interference reduction signal about which the reception signal has been processed and output by the interference signal reducing means; and control signal generation means for calculating a ratio of interference signal power to noise power from the interference signal power output by the interference signal power calculation means and the noise power output by the noise power calculation means, and for comparing it with a threshold value to generate a control signal to control the selection means.
