PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To link an instant message and an online document in a chat window of an instant message service.SOLUTION: A method relating to one embodiment includes the steps of: displaying a chat window including an instant message recipient and an instant message sender; determining whether a preset object word is included in an instant message transmitted by the instant message sender; selecting a link from at least one candidate link on the basis of the determination resu mutually mapping the object word included in the instant message on the selected link; and highlighting the object word mapped on the selected link in a balloon including the instant message of the chat window.
