PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel cholesterol production inhibitors, hypercholesterolemia preventive/therapeutic agents and arteriosclerosis preventive agents.;SOLUTION: The cholesterol production inhibitors, hypercholesterolemia preventive/therapeutic agents and arteriosclerosis preventive agents contain reaction products of hydroxystilbenes, such as trans-resveratrol, and sinapic acid, and their pharmacologically acceptable salts.
