LABEL-FREE METHOD FOR DETECTION AND QUANTIFICATION OF PROTEIN BIOMARKERS

The present invention provides a method for the detection and quantification of proteins such as but not limited to biomarkers. More particularly, the present invention provides a real time, rapid, direct approach and highly sensitive method for determining the active protein concentration in samples in a label free environment, under optimal experimental conditions. The present invention also eliminates the requirement for pre-requisite calibration curve or the protein marker purification from complex samples for protein quantification.
