PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy, rapid and sensitive method for detection and quantification of a protein with high reproducibility with superior operability, easily performed even by an examiner inexperienced in biochemical or chemical experiments, and detecting the presence of a trace protein and quantifying the protein by a simple mean used even in outdoors or at sites.;SOLUTION: A protein modifier and Tb ions are added to a sample liquid to be measured and mixed such that the Tb ions and a protein are coordinated. Then, Ce ions are added and mixed, and the resulting sample solution is excited with near ultraviolet ray and measured for fluorescence of a visible part emitted when the protein is present.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
