ABSTRACT A COLD PLASMA GENERATING DEVICE The present disclosure relates to a cold Plasma generating device, and particularly to a system that utilizes plasma technology and used in bio medical applications. The cold plasma generating device comprising: a casing made up of delrin including a passage defined therein configured to direct a flow of an ionizable gas there through; an electrode made up of stainless steel/ tungtun positioned along axis of the casing in communication with the passage for flow of the ionizable gas in the casing; a quartz tube assembled in leak proof manner into the casing; a metal sleeve fitted on the quartz tube to acts as neutral; an air inlet bush configured to feed ionizable gas into the casing; and a power supply electrically connected to the electrode (3) and metal sleeve (2), for providing an alternating current supply to the electrode to excite the ionizable gas flowing through the passage of the casing (1) thereby producing plasma. The present disclosure provides a compact, light-weight, cost effective system for producing cold plasma at atmospheric pressure.
