The invention relates to derivatives of (+)-, (-)- optically active carboxylic or racemic nucleosides to be used as viral and/or antitumoral agents. According to the invention, the derivatives have a general formula I, comprising, as heterocyclic base, adenine or adenine substituted in the 6 position or 6-alkoxypurine (RRN is an etheric group OR) and a norbornane radical with specific functionalization, as glycosidic rest.
