Improvements introduced in the Spanish patent P201100203 "passive safety device in road equipment support structures" characterized in that a housing located in a support element (10) and where said housing internally houses an impact plate (1) that jointly incorporates a hinge (2) located in its lower part, which articulates it with a support plate (3) that incorporates a first groove (6) through which a cutting element (4) with the shape of an inverted arrow will slide, which is attached to both the impact plate (1) and the support plate (3) thanks to the presence of a series of springs (5), which in turn will cause the cutting element to rotate (4), depending on the speed of the impact.
