Pharmaceutical dosage forms of tizanidine and route of administration

A pharmaceutical composition of tizanidine in liquid form for use in therapy for intranasal administration characterized by containing active ingredient in its hydrochloride, dissolved in an aqueous solution and a buffer solution at a value selected pH in the range of 4.8 to 7.4, by the fact that the obtained solution, properly sterilized by heat treatment or a suitable preservative is added it can be administered as such or optionally added with one or more flavoring agents, tonicity agents, hyperbaric agents and enhancing agents suitable absorption commonly used.
