The present invention relates to a virally secure plasmatic Factor VIII composition obtained after nanometric filtration, comprising von Willebrand Factor (VWF) at a rate of less than or equal to 15% of the decamers and higher multimers. Such compositions have a virus titer reduction factor greater than 4 log and are therefore suitable for the treatment of hemophilia.
