Embodiments are disclosed for facilitating Do-lt-Yourself (DIY) repairs. Inthecontext of a method, an example embodiment includes receiving, by anexperience-basedrepair service (EBRS) host system, vehicle diagnostic information identifyingoneor more vehicle problems. This example embodiment of the method furtherincludesevaluating the vehicle diagnostic information, generating, based on theevaluation of thevehicle diagnostic information, required part types and required tools foraddressing theone or more vehicle problems, and generating, based on the evaluation of thevehiclediagnostic information, recommended part types for addressing the one or morevehicleproblems. Finally, this example embodiment of the method further includescausingpresentation of an interface facilitating purchase of required parts from eachof thegenerated required part types, the required tools, and recommended parts fromeach ofthe generated recommended part types. Corresponding apparatuses and computerprogram products are also provided.
