Provided are an automatic lower limb adjustment platform for a lumbar rehabilitation training, and training method. The automatic lower limb adjustment platform comprises: an aluminum alloy profile frame (100), an automatic lower limb adjustment platform unit (300), a standing platform (400), an electric machinery unit (500), a flexible cable (600), and a pulley unit (700). The training method comprising eight steps is capable of accurately controlling the automatic lower limb adjustment platform, thereby safely assisting a patient to perform rehabilitation training, so that the patient can avoid accidents during the rehabilitation training. The automatic lower limb adjustment platform enables a leg of the patient to perform a flexion or extension movement within a working range of the automatic lower limb adjustment platform unit (300), and can adjust leg postures of the patient standing on the standing platform (400) when the lumbar region are respectively straight and bent.
