The purpose is to provide a mechanism and a frame able to simultaneously achieve a low-air-resistance posture and high-output traveling. The posture-assisting mechanism is configured by fixing a base 1 to a frame 5 of a bicycle on which a mechanism such as an aerobar or a DH bar is provided on the handlebars, fixing the base 1 to a support part 2, and fixing an armrest 3 to the support part 2. An frame integrated with the posture-assisting mechanism is configured by fixing the base 1 to a base 13 integrally molded onto the frame and fixing the armrest 3 onto the base 1 or the support part 2 fixed to the base 1.
