APPLICATION OF TRANILAST IN PREPARATION OF DRUG TREATING SCLEREDEMA DIABETICORUM

Disclosed is an application of tranilast in the preparation of a drug treating scleredema diabeticorum. Tranilast has been used for many years in the clinical treatment of allergic diseases and keloids, and is a safe and effective drug with few adverse reactions. Now, tranilast is used for scleredema diabeticorum patients who have no clear clinical treatment program. After tranilast has been applied for three months, clinical observations show that symptoms are significantly eased, and B-scans detect that skin thickness is significantly thinner, without any significant adverse reactions. This indicates that the drug rapidly controls skin damage in scleredema diabeticorum patients, and reduces clinical symptoms of scleredema diabeticorum. Tolerance is good, patient compliance is high, adverse reactions are rare, and the clinical efficacy and safety of the drug are good.
