The present invention relates to a refrigerator (2) which comprises: a freezer compartment (3) for freezing the articles which are stored therein; a door (4) for opening/closing the freezer compartment (3); an ice maker (5) for making ice and/or ice cream, wherein the ice maker (5) is disposed into the freezer compartment (3); one or more cool air vents (6) formed into the inner wall (7) of the freezer compartment (3), a refrigeration unit for blowing the cool air through the cool air vents (6) into freezer compartment (3) and a cool air deflector device adapted to deflect the cool air which is blown through one or more cool air vents (6) directly towards the ice maker (5).
