A system and method for automatically testing a wireless data packet signal transceiver device under test (DUT). The one or more DUTs are enclosed within respective chambers in a shielded enclosure that provide electromagnetic shielding to their interior regions. Each DUT is powered by internal power and its radio frequency (RF) signal port is connected to the external RF signal interface at the outer wall of the enclosure. The anchors at the outer wall of the shielded enclosure enable mechanical engagement with the shielded enclosure and physical movement of the shielded enclosure thereby making use of pick and place automatic devices to engage and connect with the automated test equipment The DUT can be adjusted. This test facility can be assembled into a vertically stacked RF signal test station where the shielded DUT enclosures are mated by physically matching their respective power and RF signal ports using pick and place automatic devices.;
