The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases containing an HAX1 inhibitor as an active ingredient, to a health functional food therefor, and a screening method using the same. HAX1 promotes the decomposition of cIA2 to increase the level of NIK, which is one of the substrates of cIA2. Furthermore, HAX1 regulates the untypical NF-kB pathway through NIK stabilization, and the treatment with siRNA inhibiting HAX1 inhibits the activity of NF-kB, and thus the HAX1 inhibitor can be favorably used in the therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases and the screening method using the same.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
