The present invention relates to a method for remotely controlling an electronic device using a mobile terminal capable of wireless communication, and a mobile terminal for implementation of the method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for remotely controlling the electronic device implemented on the mobile terminal capable of wireless communication includes: a step of recognizing the electronic device; a step of receiving data about an originating regulation of a control signal for remotely controlling a user interface for remote control corresponding to the electronic device from a hosting system; and a step of supplying the user interface to the user of the mobile terminal.
