The present invention provides a composition for a quantum dot capping ligand including a dithiol compound, a dithiol-capped quantum dot, and a solar cell using the same. According to the present invention, the dithiol-capped quantum dot shows thermal stability higher than that of an unqualified quantum dot and a strong luminosity emission intensity to improve optical efficiency. In addition, the dithiol-capped quantum dot shows excellent power conversion efficiency, a high electron lifetime value, and a high open circuit voltage in the solar cell including the dithiol-capped quantum dot, so the dithiol-capped quantum dot can be used for the solar cell usefully.
