According to the present invention, a method to detect an illegal ride on subway includes: a step of sensing a specific area through a camera; a step of setting a sensed object as at least one section; a step of recognizing RGB by dividing the set section into a predetermined number of area coordinates; a step of digitizing the recognized RGB in accordance with a predetermined formula; a step of checking the highest numerical value and the lowest numerical value by analyzing numerical values of the area coordinates, and then applying the checked numerical values to the area coordinates; a step of determining whether the digitized object, to which the area coordinates are digitized, goes through an opening recognition line in the specific area or not; and a step of making a warning if the object goes through the opening recognition line as a determination result.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
