The present invention relates to a stone pot rice manufacturing method using a Kalopanax pictus shoot. According to the present invention, a pharmacological ingredient of the Kalopanax pictus shoot is added to rice, which is a staple food of Koreans, so that an effect beneficial to the human body can be achieved. In addition, the rice is cooked with water obtained by boiling Kalopanax pictus down, and thus the flavor of the Kalopanax pictus is allowed to be maximized and various effective active ingredients are provided along with an antioxidant function. The present invention includes: a first step of collecting the Kalopanax pictus shoot, washing it, and then blanching it for two to three minutes in boiling water; a second step of drying the blanched Kalopanax pictus shoot until its moisture content is within a range of 20% to 30%; a third step of sealing the dried Kalopanax pictus shoot and then rapid-freezing it at 40 degrees Celsius below zero; a fourth step of storing the rapid-frozen Kalopanax pictus shoot at a place where 20 degrees Celsius below zero is maintained; and a fifth step of putting the rapid-frozen Kalopanax pictus shoot and soaked rice into a previously-prepared stone pot and then cooking the rice by heating for 15 minutes the shoot, the soaked rice, and the water obtained by boiling the Kalopanax pictus down.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
