Disclosed are a battery trailer for an emergency situation of an electric bus, and an electric bus driving method using the same. The present invention relates to a battery trailer for an emergency situation of an electric bus and an electric bus driving method using the same, capable of moving an electric bus to the closest battery station through the battery trailer in the event of an emergency such as discharge of a battery or the like, and then resuming the operation of the bus after repairing the bus. According to the present invention, the battery trailer includes: a trailer frame having a battery placed therein and supported therefrom; wheels installed on both sides to move the trailer frame; a trailer towing ring installed at an end of the frame to be connected with a towing ring of the electric bus so that the trailer frame is able to be towed by the electric bus; and an electric cable electrically connecting the battery with the electric bus to operate the electric bus through the battery of the trailer frame.
