The present invention relates to a weapon management apparatus which can recognize the presence or absence and the kind of objects on the basis of weights of items. The apparatus comprises: individual weapon storage rooms; a weight measurement device which is attached to the lower end of the individual weapon storage rooms; a processor which determines the kind of suitable weapon in a database stored in advance on the basis of the weight detected by the weight measurement device; and a serial number recognition device which determines a place where there is a serial number on the basis of the determined weapon, moves in a direction thereof, and recognizes a serial number. Accordingly, the kind of weapon can be determined only by storing a weapon, and it is possible to confirm storage of the weapon by confirming the serial number, and it is possible to safely store the weapon.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
