The present invention relates to a portable wireless authentication method and an apparatus thereof, and more particularly, to a portable wireless authentication method with an enhanced security function and an apparatus thereof, in which a wireless authentication apparatus which uses an RFID module stores fingerprint recognition data, which is biometric information, so that the RFID module is operated only when fingerprint information matches, and the wireless authentication apparatus is embedded in a ring shape to easily carry the apparatus, so that loss or illegal use of other people is prevented. To this end, when transmitting RFID data having an authentication identification code to an RFID reader, pre-stored biometric information data is compared with the biometric information data inputted in real time for authentication, and the RFID data transmission and personal authentication are controlled to be implemented only when the pre-stored biometric information matches the inputted biometric information data.
