Edge-based Load-Shedding System for Fast-Data Analysis and the operating method thereof

An edge-based load-shading system according to an aspect of the present invention includes an analysis server which determines to perform server/edge segmentation, requests some of the operation modules of an analytical application to be transmitted and offloaded to an edge machine, and receives preprocessing data from the edge machine to analyze the data; and the edge machine which receives the operation modules from the analysis server to offload the operation modules, pre-processes sensor data collected from a sensor by using the offloaded operation module, and transmits the pre-processing data to the analysis server. So, the load of the analysis server can be reduced.
