The present invention relates to a method for preparing fish cake rice ball, and to the fish cake rice ball. More specifically, the method comprises the following steps: preparing rice; preparing and cutting the fish cake; mixing the cut fish cake with the prepared rice; and putting fillings of a rice ball into mixed rice to be shaped in a spherical shape. According to the present invention, a large amount of protein, which has been especially insufficient in the rice ball, is provided to solve a problem of nutrition imbalance and to improve flavor and texture of the rice ball. In addition, the shelf life of the rice ball is extended, thereby facilitating distribution and promoting consumption of rice and fish cake.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
