The present invention relates to simulation for generating multi-view contents. More specifically, the present invention relates to a simulation device using a three-dimensional (3D) development engine in order to create efficient actual image-based multi-view contents, and a method therefor. To this end, the simulation device includes multi-view cameras, a camera circular alignment part, a virtual area information receiving part, and a simulation environment creation part. In production of multi-view contents using a real camera, by conducting virtual simulation prior to setting the real camera, it is possible to shorten the time for measuring a definition region and a multi-view region for each parameter.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
