The present invention relates to a process for preparing a green tea, Reacting the mixed green tea at room temperature (step 2); Removing the alcohol from the green tea / alcohol mixture (step 3); Removing the caffeine component using the supercritical extraction system (step 4); And a step (5) of drying the caffeine-free green tea / alcohol mixture (step 5), wherein the caffeine-reduced green tea product is prepared by using the supercritical extraction system (87.4%), it is possible to contribute to the generation of new tea consumption market and the income of related enterprises (farm households) in Korea through the development of low caffeinated green tea manufacturing method which minimizes loss of catechin, free amino acid and antioxidant component .
