The present invention provides thermoelectric materials for medium temperature comprising the selenium tungsten (WSe 2 ) in bulk form. The bulk selenium tungsten (WSe 2 ), which is a thermoelectric material according to the present invention, may have hexagonal molybdenite (hexagonal molybdenite) crystal structure. In addition, the thermoelectric material for intermediate temperature exhibits p-type semiconductor material characteristics, and as the temperature increases, the thermoelectric performance improves, so that the thermoelectric material exhibits excellent thermoelectric properties at a middle temperature (300 to 600 ° C). Further, the method of producing the tungsten selenide in the bulk form proposed in the present invention can be easily made into a bulk form by sintering tungsten, which is difficult to form in bulk, through a discharge plasma because of its high melting point.
