The present invention relates to self-assembled polymeric micelles consisting of glycol chitosan-dequalinium (GC-DQA), a preparation method thereof and uses thereof. The micelles made of GC-DQA polymers have low cytotoxicity compared to a control group DQAsome, easily load hydrophobic drugs in the micelles, can be stably maintained at room temperature and when being kept under refrigeration, and have excellent targeting effects with respect to mitochondria.
