RECOMBINANT BACILLUS SPECIES STRAIN FOR HIGHLY PRODUCING POLYMYXIN, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMYXIN BY USING SAME

The present invention relates to a recombinant bacillus species strain for producing polymyxin at a high level. More specifically, the present invention relates to a strain produced by additionally introducing a mutant for improving polymyxin productivity to a recombinant bacillus species strain obtained by inserting pmxABCDE, which is a polymyxin biosynthetic gene group derived from Paenibacillus polymyxa, into a chromosome of a bacillus species host strain; and to a method for producing polymyxin by using the same. A highly produced recombinant bacillus species strain of the present invention can effectively mass-produce polymyxin which has conventionally been refined in a small amount from Paenibacillus polymyxa bacteria and prior art recombinant bacilli. In addition, gene manipulation can be smoothly performed, and thus a polymyxin derivative can be more effectively produced.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
