The present invention provides anhydrous crystals of polymyxin B1 sulfate, polymyxin B2 sulfate, or a mixture thereof, and a method for producing the same. The production method of the present invention comprises a step of precipitating a solid from a saturated solution of polymyxin B1 sulfate, polymyxin B2 sulfate, or a mixture thereof using an organic solvent, and drying the solid in a vacuum to form polymyxin B1.
