The present invention relates to a mobile robot apparatus and system for UV sterilization. The mobile robot apparatus for UV sterilization comprises: a main body having an openable top portion; a sensor unit formed on an outer circumferential surface of the main body and sensing the distance between external topography and an external object; an ultraviolet sterilizing unit which is formed inside the main body, and irradiates ultraviolet rays by being exposed to the outside when opening the top portion of the main body; a transport unit which is formed on a bottom surface of the main body and moves depending on a movement path; and a control unit using which controls the movement path of the transport unit using data sensed by the sensor unit, and controls the UV sterilization of the ultraviolet sterilizing unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
