METHOD FOR ASSESSING DURABILITY OF JACKET STRUCTURE FOR RECYCLING

As a guide line with respect to estimating durability of a jacket structure to recycle the jacket structure passing designed use by date, and durability is able to accurately be assessed by evaluating fatigue life with respect to a welding connection portion having a complex shape of the jacket structure composed of a main member and a secondary member; the jacket structure is able to easily be recycled in terms of reducing costs an environment. Moreover, to recycle the jacket structure, provided is a method of assessing durability of a jacket structure for recycling, capable of easily examine fatigue in consideration with a thickness of corrosion through a finite element interpretation with respect to a welding connection portion which is the most vulnerable portion of a steel material.
