Transparent Display Apparatus for Switching Screen Direction

Provided by the present invention is a transparent display device capable of switching a screen direction. The present invention comprises: a transparent display unit which is formed to include a glass substrate of a transparent material and an image output means of being installed in the glass substrate and outputting an image signal so that a display screen provides efficient performance in accordance with day/night or surrounding environment while elastically changing the output type of the display screen by being selectively converted through a back and forth polarizing setting; a first polarized light source unit which has an LED light at one end while being positioned in the front side of the transparent display unit and is formed to be able to perform a polarizing function toward the front side of the transparent display unit by injecting the light source of the LED light; a second polarized light source unit which has an LED light at one end while being positioned in the rear side of the transparent display unit and is formed to be able to perform a polarizing function toward the rear side of the transparent display unit by injecting the light source of the LED light; and a setting control unit which applies a control signal in order to set a screen output state from both front and rear directions according to modes by applying power in order to respectively turn on/off the first polarized light source unit and the second polarized light source unit with the transparent display unit.
