The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional metal catalyst electrode coated with a co-catalyst for reduction of carbon dioxide through an electrochemical method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is the method for manufacturing a three-dimensional metal catalyst electrode coated with the co-catalyst for the reduction of carbon dioxide through the electrochemical method, which comprises the following steps: (a) forming a three-dimensional oxide nanostructure on a substrate; (b) reducing the three-dimensional oxide nanostructure to a metal catalyst through the electrochemical reaction to form a three-dimensional metal catalyst electrode; and (c) coating the cocatalyst on the three-dimensional metal catalyst electrode.
