FIELD: engines and pumps.;SUBSTANCE: 3-stroke cycle is performed in one revolution of continuous crank rotation: power stroke, prolonged stop of the piston at the bottom dead center (BDC) for the purifying the cylinder from combustion materials and for filling with fresh air or fuel charge and compression. The shut-down of the piston at the top dead center (TDC) for the fuel combustion at constant volume is possible. Thereby a crank pin moves along the profiled surface, such as cam. The surface provides uniformity of the crank radius under compression, combustion and gas expansion with the first part of the profile, provides rotation of the piston rod around an axis of the piston pin with the second part of the profile.;EFFECT: higher efficiency of engine operation.;6 cl, 13 dwg
