The present invention relates to a method and a device for sealing of articles by a magnetically acting closure.According to the invention, for this purpose, a magnetically acting closure by means of a magnetic key and a magnetic lock is actuated and that the magnetic key and to prevent the magnetic lock in each case an identical number of magnet, which are positioned as pairs of magnets locally identical and the pairs of magnets, an either identical or different polarization direction so that all the pairs of magnets, an either repulsion or attraction magnetic force between the magnetic key and exert magnetic lock and a locking mechanism, which is connected with the magnetic lock moved if the alignment of the marking points of the key and of the magnet lock coincide.
